North Coast of Spain

In Australia the supports for the grapevines in vineyards are made of wood but here in Spain they are old solid granite posts. They recycle everything in Spain and any old building materials will be used wherever possible. Grapes for wine making are grown wherever possible. They have cooperatives where the grapes are pooled and a larger organisation makes the wine. It works! The wine is wonderful and very reasonably priced. Before we knew what was happening we were in Portugal crossing a bridge near Tui. We pulled up for the night just over the border at the free camp at Vila Nova de Cerveira.
